Curriculum
Learn about our programs and schedules
Our daily schedule consists of various activities where children will practice several different styles of learning. Our Creative Curriculum focuses more on recognition rather than memorization. Not only will they use their eyes and ears, but we also facilitate physical activity and textural stimulation.
Infants
We ensure our infants are engaged during their time with us by using nursery rhymes, finger plays, lullabies, baby sign language, and peek-a-boo to help stimulate their social development. The children also work on fine gross motor activities on a daily basis.
Our nursery is specially designed for all the needs of your little one with both cribs and floor toys to stimulate “tummy time."
Toddlers
Our Toddlers continue to develop both fine and large motor skills through all of our early education activites such as science and art projects.
Our creative movement becomes a bit more structured so that students have the opportunity to learn more about sharing, following rules, and taking turns.
During games, activities, and outdoor play, our students learn to work together and help their neighbors.
We also begin assisting in potty training and overall independence during this program.
Pre-K To Kindergarten
Our Pre-K students have officially entered the independent stage. They begin to do more projects on their own including gluing and cutting.
Our students are now telling us about their next activity by explaining why they would like to do it and how.
We encourage our students to be very vocal and use all the skills they have learned in the last few years with us.
In preschool daycare, we build on their writing skills and overall daily structure as a way to prepare them for their upcoming kindergarten classes.
Circle Time + Language Learning
We begin our day with "Circle Time," where we run through calendars, weather, shapes, numbers, letters, vocabulary words, and colors.
We also offer all of these services in Spanish as well as letters and key word learning in sign language. Preschool daycare is an excellent time for your child to learn a language. This way, they are much more likely to become bilingual later in life.
Art, Crafts & Science Learning
We then move on to our art, craft, or science project where our students will work on their coordination, motor skills, and be completely hands on.
We let our friends choose the story of the day right before our "Sensory Exploration," which includes digging through bins filled with various materials and textures.
As a part of the arts, we also encourage children at both of our centers to enjoy and learn about music.
Our science learning can help them develop essential skills such as problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication. It can also allow them to explore their natural curiosity by asking questions and learning more about the world around them.
Creative Movement
Our "Creative Movement" portion of the day ensures that our students receive exercise, as well as some free time.
We offer dance, and various sports. We also ensure that our children are outside enjoying some fresh air twice daily, for at least 30 minutes of the day!
Our yoga classes are instructed by trained yoga teacher, Lauren Hemley. Lauren creates a fun environment where children at our Christopher Columbus Drive location can try this healthy, unique activity.
Here, children also have the opportunity to participate in the most well-known soccer program across the United States called, "Super Soccer Stars."
