Toddler/Pre-K Center

At our Christopher Columbus Drive location, children from ages 19 months to 5 years old in Jersey City benefit from activities such as language learning, arts and crafts, movement, and more.

Following a mix of Creative Curriculum and Montessori-oriented activities, we have created programs that are both engaging and educational.

Schedule

This is a breakdown of a regular day schedule.

Full Day

8:30am to 3:00pm

Half Day

8:30am to 12:30pm

Before Care

7:00am to 8:30am

3:00pm to 7:00pm

Our Programs

Toddler/Pre-K
By working with a child development consultant with a background in youth mental health services, we carefully monitor your children to ensure they are adjusting well and enjoying their experience.

Learn about our programs.

Circle Time
We begin our day with "Circle Time," where we run through calendars, weather, shapes, numbers, letters, vocabulary words, and colors.
Language Learning
We also offer all of these services in Spanish as well as letters and key word learning in sign language.
Arts
We then move on to our art, craft, or science project where our students will work on their coordination, motor skills, and be completely hands on.
Crafts
We let our friends choose the story of the day right before our "Sensory Exploration," which includes digging through bins filled with various materials and textures.
Science
Learning science in pre-K is crucial as it fosters early curiosity, critical thinking, and foundational understanding of the natural world, laying the groundwork for future scientific literacy and inquiry skills.
Creative Movement
Our "Creative Movement" portion of the day ensures that our students receive exercise, as well as some free time.

Here, children also have the opportunity to participate in the most well-known soccer program across the United States called, "Super Soccer Stars."

Yoga With Lauren Hemley

Our yoga classes are instructed by trained yoga teacher, Lauren Hemley. Lauren creates a fun environment where children at our Christopher Columbus Drive location can try this healthy, unique activity.

At Early Beginnings Day School, we are dedicated to supporting the needs of children by addressing every element of care with qualified professionals. This includes education, social adaptability, mental health, safety, and more.

My mission is to provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children while their parents are working or attending school. Daycares help prepare children for kindergarten and promote social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development. They also provide a sense of community for both the children and their parents.
